PHASE I: Our move to the west side of Indy included several miracles that God orchestrated in a supernatural way. The sell of our 34th Street facility and the ten acres in 2008 during a depressed economy was huge! God provided a buyer that not only met our needs to purchase our present twenty-five acre campus, but also provided enough funds to remodel the 26,000 sq. ft. existing building. It was originally built as a Knights of Columbus Hall that was sold to Celebrations, a banquet and catering service. We removed the disco ball and the three bars and renovated this former gambling and dance hall into a beautiful auditorium that seats 400, along with our expanded overflow that can seat another 300.
PHASE II: In April of 2009, we began our Building a Heart of Faith capital gains program. The Lord began to work in the hearts of our people and soon we had enough traction to prove to the bank we are solvent and our vision can become a reality. In May of 2010, we broke ground for our new addition, and on March 21, 2011, we dedicated our new Dafoe Family Life Center to the Lord! The $2,400,000.00 project provides 37,000 sq. ft. that includes:
PHASE III: We are thankful for the Dafoe Family Life Center and all that the Lord has provided for us since moving to our lovely twenty-five acre campus on the west side. Our building upkeep and manicured grounds is a reminder to everyone who visits our campus that we are “alive and growing!” We humbly thank the Lord for His good hand of blessing on us. Our church and school are fast outgrowing our present facilities (a good challenge for us to have)! We are over 80% full in our Sunday morning worship service, and our evening services are well attended and very consistent. This growth creates a third phase in our vision here at Crosspointe. On the south wall in our auditorium you will find a schematic that shows one possibility of a new auditorium that we want to build as soon as the Lord gives us the “green light!” Our Building a Heart of Faith program (that is a faith promise opportunity that is renewed annually in March) is allowing us to pay down our principle ahead of schedule. However, we are asking the Lord to meet our growing needs by retiring our present debt as we continue to grow. We are trusting Him to provide for our new auditorium as soon as possible. As we do all we can to retire our present loan, we believe He is already working to provide the funds for the new auditorium. We are a people of faith and believe that in His timing and by His enabling grace, we will see the vision He has given us come to fruition.

The Pastor’s PEN, standing for Praise, Encouragement, & Nurture, has become a great tool as we review our previous Sunday and look to events on the horizon here at “The Church that Believes the Bible and Loves people!”
The PEN is designed to encourage readers with the fact that God is “working His work” and from time to time addresses contemporary issues. In a culture that seeks to desensitize us on morality, destroy the foundations of our country, and threaten the preservation of our families, I am often compelled to stand up and address these issues with the Word of God.
To receive the Pastor's PEN, please provide your name and email address to the right.
