As a New Testament, independent, Baptist church, our purpose is to glorify God in all we do as we seek to build a strong church in today’s challenging culture. Our pulpit ministry is geared to evangelize the unsaved and to edify and disciple the saints. We are a fundamental, independent, Bible-believing, Baptist church that preaches God’s Word as it is to men as they are. The music at Crosspointe is conservative, honors the Lord, and blesses the heart.
As a pastor, I carry a burden for the family and the challenges they face with personal relationships, financial pressures and rearing children; not to mention the cause and effects of post modern thought, humanism, and the uncertainty of the times in which we live. Therefore, it is our compelling desire to minister to every family member here at Crosspointe. The home was God’s first-ordained institution; and, although He puts great importance on His institutions of government and the church, the family is still, after 6000 years, clearly number one.
Often I have said, “When we go to heaven, we can take nothing with us except our family.” This is why the pulpit ministry puts a strong emphasis on the leadership roles of mom and dad, and their key influence in the lives of their children. (They “catch” more by our example than they are taught by our words). This is also why we endeavor to instill within our little ones the importance of their obedience and submission to their God-given authorities.
One visit to Crosspointe will impress on your heart what we are “all about” – everything from the warm welcome in our foyer, the tender atmosphere in our baby and toddler nurseries, the strong character-building Bible hero lessons of our children’s Sunday School classes, Cross-Training (a Wednesday night kids club program), the Summer Camps and various Retreats, the excellent service-oriented Teen Ministry, our Adult Sunday School classes, our Reformer’s Unanimous Ministry, our Ladies Fellowship Ministry, our Young At Heart senior saints program, our Anna's Sisters widows program or our Christian School (K3-12) - Crosspointe Christian Academy. We are “all about” family, and we want to assist you in your God-given privilege of loving your family to the Lord.

The Pastor’s PEN, standing for Praise, Encouragement, & Nurture, has become a great tool as we review our previous Sunday and look to events on the horizon here at “The Church that Believes the Bible and Loves people!”
The PEN is designed to encourage readers with the fact that God is “working His work” and from time to time addresses contemporary issues. In a culture that seeks to desensitize us on morality, destroy the foundations of our country, and threaten the preservation of our families, I am often compelled to stand up and address these issues with the Word of God.
To receive the Pastor's PEN, please provide your name and email address to the right.
